QOTD: Evan Williams on features

An interesting interview from ZDNET with Twitter CEO Evan Williams: CEO predicts future uses for Twitter. The take away quote:
We haven't added many features since we launched. We've actually taken away more than we've added.
There's a lesson there.

He talked about support for groups being the most asked for feature. He said they had been playing around with groups internally to the Twitter development team. When asked for a time-frame for when we might see groups rolled-out?

Nah, you can't ever give dates on features.

He also mentioned that he follows about 900 people and that it's too many. He said he gets in trouble when he misses his wife's tweets. I highly recommend that he start using Twitterspy.

I saw this, too. The twitter guys are about as opaque as it gets for people operating in a transparent medium. But they do get away with it.
Feedly, huh? I just discovered your blog.
