MediaWiki based survey site: votApedia

votApedia: This is an interesting survey site using MediaWiki as the back-end. It demonstrates some of the interesting development work occurring in the MediaWiki space. As more people begin to use MediaWiki for things other than writing an encyclopedia it's only going to get better. We're beginning to see some network effect around MediaWiki as everyone attempts to emulate the success of Wikipedia in their own enterprise.

Back to votApedia, I especially like the mobile phone-based audience response system. It even has a PPT plug-in. Almost every student carries a phone. I‘m guessing something like this could put the audience response software companies out of business.
