When all you have is a hammer, everything looks like a nail

I‘ve been working in wikis so much that I‘ve developed this incredibly frustrating reaction when I find typos in articles on non-wiki sites. I want to fix them, and it annoys me no-end when I can‘t.

I found this one this morning in First Monday, which is a highly regarded online peer-reviewed journal:

In the developing word, which includes approximately 80 percent of the world's population, even modest charges for access or publication can be beyond the economic means of libraries and individuals who wish to access the material or authors who wish to publish their material.

It‘s got to the point where I can‘t read an article anymore without doing copy editing in my head. Anyone else experiencing something similar? It‘s starting to take the fun out of reading.
